I think Julie is starting to look like me. I know this is probably in my imagination considering that we are in no way biologically related, but when I look at her, I see a reflection of myself. It feels as if our spirits are connected somehow and maybe always were. Julie is so full of love it amazes me. She speaks of her birth parents and family as if she remembers them. She was only 7 months old when we adopted her but maybe hearts and love have memories that our minds don’t capture and remember. She has a light inside her that just glows with love and happiness. I want to always encourage love in her and let her know that there is no love “limit” for others. When I look at Julie I see my daughter, chosen by God for me and I am forever grateful to Him.
