can I make a difference?

Like many people I was so saddened by the earthquake in Haiti this week. What can I do to help? Giving money seems so passive (not only that but will my money go to the Haiti people or the corrupt government?). What is God's will for me in service to others? I was moved by the sermons Pastor Mark gave about listening to God's nudges and Pastor Joe's sermons calling on me to put my faith into action. I have done good deeds within my community but I feel as though I need to reach beyond the comfortable and put myself out there to be a good human in the world. I don't know what that means for me right now but it is something I know I have to do.
