Is it all about me?

I think I was born needing to be the center of attention. I guess that's the role I was destined to play in my family and my life. So it is with that acknowledgement that I resist what's natural and dedicate the blog today to someone other than myself. K is someone who on the surface seems to be the funny guy, life of the party and dare I say center of attention (especially in the teacher's lounge). However over the last 7 years I've seen the other side of him that is not so obvious. K is one of the most dedicated husbands I've ever seen. I've seen him support his wife through traumatic pregnancies, multiple deaths in her family and her having to make life and death decisions that know one ever wants to have to make. There is a quiet strength in K that I've seen mature that is quite remarkable. The saying goes that behind every great man there is a woman supporting them and I think in K's case it's true, M is great. But I can see that in their marriage the saying goes both ways. So K...get off my ass! Dedication done, check it off!
